After graduating with her degree in fashion design and merchandising, the family moved to Los Angeles. She said as a teenager, it was a “dream” job and it only served to reinforce her love of fashion. Once she moved with her family to Lexington and turned 16, Shaw started working at Victoria’s Secret and continued working there through high school and college.
